MAC Presents hired OTR to conceptualize and build a private lounge to host Citi’s VIP guests along the entire US leg of the Rolling Stones “50 and Counting” tour. The room incorporated the lavishness of rock and roll with bold vintage-rock-glam elements, while incorporating masculine accents of gloss, chrome, metallic and extravagance. The industrial swagger was capped off with worn American and Union Jack flags and side tables displaying curated photo books and antique artifacts documenting the Stones’ legendary history. The room could be transformed based on the differing footprints of each venue space. Tabletops and the bar were custom made using treated fine woods, stained in rich shades accented by matte metallic detailing.
